Only if you want one. It’s always nice to have independence. If you do want a car I suggest renting it at the airport. Sedona itself has limited resources in renting a car, I have found out. You may want to shop or go out to eat. It just gives you more flexibility. However, I will have my car and can seat up to 4 people, 5 total.

You can fly into Phoenix or directly to Sedona. From Phoenix there is a shuttle service that is perfect for getting you to and from the airport to Sedona and drop you near your hotel.

I really do love the hotel, Courtyard Sedona. They are so nice there and we often use them as a meet up place.
The sooner you book, the better. There are all kinds of choices.

Yes, there are some at night you need to be aware of. Wild Coyotes (you can hear them howling sometimes at sunset) and Javelinas are seen mostly at night. Snakes? I’ve not seen one yet.
