Divine Right Timing: Trusting the Cosmic Flow during Mercury and Venus Retrograde
The universe 🌌 keeps reminding me to slow down, to trust, and to understand that everything unfolds in divine right timing.
This makes me want to scream!
Right now, the Universal reminders are coming in the form of planetary retrogrades.
Both Mercury and Venus in retrograde, (plus 4 outer planets are Rx) telling us we have a prime opportunity to explore and embrace the concept of divine right timing. (Really!?)
Is this happening for you? Are you feeling frustrated, angry, not loved etc…. with the cosmic heavenly flow of energy right now?
☿️Mercury Retrograde: Reflect, Reassess, and Realign
Every time Mercury goes retrograde, which happens three to four times a year, (that’s a lot!) our communication, travel plans, contracts, and technology often seem to go haywire. But rather than viewing these hiccups as mere inconveniences, Mercury Retrograde serves as a celestial nudge, urging us to take a step back, to reflect on our choices, and to reassess our paths.
Sometimes this is actually protecting us in ways we cannot see. I’m all about time economics.
Why waste your precious lifetime buying a car or phone IF, because of Mercury Rx, it will break down later?
Why waste the money and time traveling somewhere, where I’ll have just a so so time OR have delays with transportation, etc.
Why waste your time talking to people who are not interested in your business?
During this period, instead of initiating new projects, it’s a time to revisit old ones. I’m sure you have a lot to do on your TO DO list.
It’s a cosmic invitation to pause, to re-evaluate our communication styles, our relationships, and our inner dialogues. The universe is essentially saying, "Slow down. Think things through. Let go of the need to be 'right' or 'timely' and trust that things will unfold as they're meant to." (sounds oh so simple)
❤️Venus Retrograde: Re-evaluating Relationships and Desires
While Mercury Retrograde tends to disrupt our external world, Venus Retrograde delves deeper into our innermost feelings, particularly those concerning love, relationships, and personal values. As the planet of love and beauty reverses its course, we are encouraged to re-evaluate our relationships and personal desires. (Does this mean I have to stop screaming at people in my car?)
This is a time to ask ourselves:
Are our relationships reflecting our true values?
Are we pursuing our genuine desires or simply following societal expectations? (This is a big one! Makes me want to get in a car and drive away, but wait, I can’t Mercury is RX!)
Venus Retrograde is a phase to contemplate, reassess, and potentially recalibrate our life choices based on our deepest truths.

🕰️Letting Go and Trusting Divine Right Time
Both these retrogrades are not periods of stasis but of active reflection. (How much longer to I have to actively reflect? I’m starting to go crazy!)
It's the universe's way of asking us to re-align with our authentic selves. And this re-alignment often requires us to let go—of preconceived notions, of past regrets, of rigid timelines. (WHAT?)
The concept of divine right time tells us that there's an optimal time for everything—a time when circumstances, both seen and unseen, align perfectly for events to unfold. By trying to force things, we're working against this cosmic rhythm.
But by surrendering to it, we're co-creating with the universe, trusting that what's meant for us will come at the perfect time.
For me, this equals the energy of GRACE.
Grace cannot be manufactured.
Grace is what appears in the Divine Right Timing.
Grace can be really small, however, you will see the grace and know the grace when it come.
It’s helpful when I can remember this which is why I’m making this Love Note.

Remember, the cosmic dance of the planets is not there to trip us up, but to guide and uplift us. (Okay, Shauna)
Keep a journal of how you see Grace coming into your life in the moment.
This morning I got out of bed early. (I’m in a fight with my husband, thank you Venus + Mercury) and I drove to the lake to do some filming @ 7a. I went to a place that is secretive and haven’t been to in a long time.
There I came across this huge stone that had written on it, ‘I LOVE YOU’. I took this as a message from the Universe. And now I see how that was some Grace coming into my life.
It’s intense right now. Be kind to yourself and others. And this too shall pass into the next heavenly flow of life lessons. ❤️
